sweet find - kitchenaid sale

I hope to be baking more sweets very soon. Everytime I want to bake I have to borrow a mixer because I am holding off buying my own until I buy my dream one, a Kitchenaid stand mixer. I have promised myself that this will be the year and it seems this might be the right time. I discovered this morning that Buyinvite are having a Kitchenaid sale starting 6am tomorrow, these sales sometimes sell out quick so I'm going to get in early.  I am crossing my fingers they will have some stand mixers on sale (in a great colour). I imagine there will be a range of Kitchenaid appliances available (mixers, blenders, coffee grinders??) - but we won't know until bright and early tomorrow when the sale starts.  Kitchenaid sale on Tues 24 August - Thurs 26 August.

ps. You need to join Buyinvite to access the sale - it's worth doing, it's free and they have sales on some really great brands.

** Update - Kitchenaid cookware only on sale, no mixers, no electrical appliances at all :( **

  1. I desperately need a mixer too - I have made do with my electric hand beaters for too long now but haven't decided what sort of mixer to buy yet - love the Kitchenaid one. Hope you grab a bargain tomorrow x

  2. My dream is a bright red Kitchenaid mixer - ahh. Instead I make do with my Mum's hand me down, a very very old Sunbeam mixer which works great but isn't a Kitchenaid!

  4. Aren't those mixers the bee knees? I have a vintage Sunbeam one which has that great smell when you use it. Maybe a Kitchenaid one day...

  5. I was very fortunate to have been given a black kitchen aid for my birthday a few years ago. A gift that keeps giving according to my husband.

  7. Baking is wonderful. Everyone loves a slice of cake it is so welcoming to have in the home. Also with home baking you know it has all the good quality ingredients. Wishing you success at the sale and happy baking.

  9. DON'T get the 5 quart one that only raises the bowl up and down two inches! I got it because I thought 'bigger motor must be better'. But you can't scrape the bowl down well, because the motor thingee is in the way.

You REALLY want the 4 quart where you can lift the beater up and back!

So good to get that off my chest. Oh, and I am THRILLED that you stopped by!

  10. I can relate to your situation - I eventually got mine at Peters of Kensingston - online (unless you are in Sydney and you can visit the store). Their prices are good all year, but their BIG sale is in January. Worth signing up for their newsletter. I went with empire red - I love it! Good luck!

  11. Holyoke Home - Thanks for tip! I did a little bit of research and I couldn't find the 4 quart available here in Australia, only the 5 quart (Artisan). It looks like the Australian agent doesn't import the 4 quart :(

yardage girl - I just checked Peters of Kensington and their prices are good!! Thanks Nic.

  12. good luck with your kitchen aid! You can never find any deals like this in Vancouver. I'm going to have to do some super-sleuthing. I bake all the time, and I could really use one of those. I need to save my pennies.
