This bump gets that little bit bigger every day. I'm officially six months now which means I'm in my third trimester. Already. Time feels like it is flying! We start our childbirth/parenting classes next week so that should be interesting. I was there when my sister gave birth to my niece so I have somewhat of an inkling of what to look forward to (or not!).
Baby is still very active, kicking and squirming inside me. I find it comforting. I'm told they slow down a little once they grow. They run out of space, I guess. When I get some time I hope to print some fabric to make into linen for baby's cot. How cute would that be!
With our house up for sale at the moment I feel a bit anxious about the next three months. Where will we be living when baby comes? I literally have no idea. Maybe we will still be here, maybe not. Maybe we will be living in a little old house in the next suburb, and dreaming about renovations. Hopefully the next month will bring some answers to these questions. That will put my mind at ease a little.

You look fantastic Julie! I hope you are feeling well. xx
ReplyDeleteYou are looking so well! The uncertainty of you living situation must be a little disconcerting but I'm sure it will all work out well. Take care :)
ReplyDeleteCongrats sweetie...so sorry its belated and that I don't swing by and say hello as often as I should....Thats awesome news. Beautiful baby bump your sporting there lovely...and your absolutely glowing.
ReplyDeleteIm 7 weeks behind you....just hit the 5 month mark..second time round for me.
The classes will help...and you will meet lovely first time parents that fingers crossed you form a friendship with and can support each other along the way and after.
Have to say..yes...as baby gets bigger there is less wiggling around...BUT...let me tell you..when they DO move...Oh boy..you will definitely feel it in a much bigger way..lol
I remember with my little Jacq...I used to cop a good kick in the ribs now and then..lol...all good...gives you a good chuckle.

Love your pregnancy style!
ReplyDeleteI'm 18 weeks and it's fall up in the north, so I'm getting into long sleeves and baggy sweaters :P I haven't started buying baby things yet (can't decide on anything!).
Hope you hear some good news regarding your houses (current and potentially new) soon!!! Whatever the outcome, I look forward to seeing the baby's room! :)
Helen

ReplyDeleteYou are looking so beautiful! great blog but your green chair is WONDERFUL!
ReplyDeleteOh, just look at that gorgeous bump! You look amazing Julie! I loved those precious weeks where baby had enough room to wiggle and kick and poke - it was a nice reminder :) Then they start getting *really* heavy on your bladder, hehe....
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the classes! I joined a birth community when I was pregnant (a homebirth coffee morning, as I had planned a homebirth) and I formed two fabulous friendships with two other women and their babies. Talk to everyone and swap numbers!
Looking forward to seeing more bump pics xx
